Regarding the TimePage Guestbook and Forum pages
As much as I hated to do it, I have removed the guestbook
and the forum discussion pages from my website. The internet, sadly I believe,
has not only lost its innocence but in many ways has lost its way. Many, if not most,
of the individuals that were posting to
these two pages were not interested in the TimePage or its ideas. They had their
own agenda and, with an alarming frequency, were promoting it with insults, vulgarities
and generally demeaning language. I can't spend my time trying to edit out this
junk (I don't even like the idea of editing other people's comments) so I am not going
to provide an outlet for it. There are many public forums where they can go to promote
their ideas and/or vent their frustrations. If you are interested in a discussion of generational topics, in particular, the Authors of the book "Generations" that this site is based on have a web site with a very active discussion forum
So...if you have comments about the
TimePage, its ideas or anything else , send me an email (webmaster @ timepage.org). I still want to
hear from all of you. If you use the email response
form you can even send it anonymously if you want to. If you do want it published let me know.
There is a check box on the form. Thank you all for your support.
I also have a new weblog.
Until you all make your presence known it will not be much more than a sounding board for me
but you can register and there is space for you to add your comments so if you want to talk to
(or at) me, out in the open, this is the place to do it. As a registered user you can even contribute content, links, etc.
If a few of you decide to come by and talk it will do the job of the guestbook, forum and newsletter
all in one place.
